These terms govern your use of Engineer Hub. By creating an account, you agree to them. Engineer Hub is an independent platform built for IEK-affiliated engineers, graduates, and students — it is not an official product of, or operated by, the Institution of Engineers of Kenya.
1. Who can use Engineer Hub
Accounts are onboarded for engineers, graduate engineers, and engineering students affiliated with IEK. Accounts are tied to an IEK membership number and a PIN you set on first login — you're responsible for keeping your PIN private and for all activity under your account.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Impersonate another member or misrepresent your professional qualifications, experience, or credentials.
- Post fraudulent, misleading, or spam job listings.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other members in posts, comments, or messages.
- Attempt to access another member's account or bypass account security.
- Upload content you don't have the right to share, or content that's unlawful, defamatory, or infringes someone else's rights.
3. Your content
You own what you post — profile information, posts, comments, photos, and videos. By posting it, you give Engineer Hub the license needed to store and display it back to you and other members as part of the normal operation of the platform. You can remove most content yourself at any time.
4. Jobs board
Job postings are provided by members and companies, not verified or endorsed by Engineer Hub or IEK. Use your own judgment before applying or engaging with any listing.
5. Enforcement
We may remove content or suspend an account that violates these terms, including impersonation, harassment, or fraudulent job postings.
6. No warranty
Engineer Hub is provided as-is. We work to keep it available and accurate, but don't guarantee uninterrupted access or that the platform will be error-free.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
